Dance Arts Class Schedule_2018-2019 (pdf)

Marla Heeler, Owner/Instructor

Welcome! We hope you will join our dance family. Our curriculum includes:

  • Ballet
  • Tap
  • Pointe
  • Jazz
  • Contemporary
  • Musical Theater
  • Tumbling
  • Hip Hop

All classes continue to grow and we’re especially excited our ‘Just for Boys’ classes keep getting bigger and stronger every year.

We have 4 studios specifically designed and constructed for dance. Adult instructors teach

all classes and are dedicated to help students achieve personal and physical growth in a challenging, positive environment.

Dance is an athletic art form. It strengthens

and inspires – physically, mentally, and artistically. Our students learn proper technique, poise, concentration and confidence.

Dance Training = Life Training

We are also proud to continue our ‘Beyond Dance’ program – a free class specially designed for children with physical challenges.

The Dark Fairy

The Dance Arts Center Performing Arts Company is proud to present our second amazing and stunning music and dance performance...The Dark Fairy.

Thousands of St. Joseph and area youth have learned about the art, discipline and joy of dance

throughout the past 34 years at The Dance Arts Center.

You can help our local and area dancers spread their wings to fly and bring a host of mystical

creatures to life for our audiences on January 26 and 27, 2019 at the Historic Missouri Theater.

Your financial support is needed to help fund over $25,000 in choreography, studio rehearsals, theater rehearsals and costume production. Each sponsorship includes promotional opportunities and tickets to one or more performances.

Sponsorships and donations are tax deductible through our Dance Arts Performing Company

501c3 partnership with the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.

Please call with any questions about sponsorships or donations. You will be amazed with the creativity and quality of music and dance in The Dark Fairy.

We appreciate your financial support to bring a show of this magnitude and quality to St. Joseph.
