JUMP JIVE 35 RECITAL • JUNE 10 – 14 • CELEBRATING 35 YEARS

The Dance Arts Center 'Jump Jive 35' Recital, June 10–14, Missouri Theater, Celebrating 35 years!

Dress Rehearsals will be held Monday, June 1 through Saturday, June 6 at The Dance Arts Center


All dance classes Recital performances will be held at the Historic Missouri Theater, 717 Edmond Street, Saint Joseph, Missouri

Dancers and their guests [no more than 4] should arrive 5 to 10 minutes 

    before their scheduled class performance time. DAC staff will let your party 

    into the theater at your scheduled time.


Dancers need be 'Show Ready' when they arrive at the theater

      • All dancers with long hair are required to wear it in a 'low bun'.

      • No jewelry

      • No nail polish

      • Make sure all show bows are securely attached and ballet show strings 

          tucked

      • Check tights for runs

      • Combo students – go easy on the make-up

      • No undies under your costume


Dancers will have an 'on-stage run through' with their class and will then 

    perform the number for their guests


If want your child to perform via 'Zoom' rather than at the theater, call

    The Dance Arts Center office [816-233-5442] by Thursday, May 28 for

     instructions


All guests and dancers must exit the theater immediately after each 

    performance so the theater can be sanitized per requirements by the City 

    of Saint Joseph Health Department


Hand sanitizer will be available at the theater for dancers and guests.


• For the safety of our dancers and to avoid breaking Copyright Laws, video recording and flash photography of performances are not allowed

• No Food or Drink is allowed in the theater

• Be courteous of other guests and silence cell phones, electronic devices, and voices during the performances


J.McBee Photography will be available to take photos of your dancer during all recital times. They will be located in the building next to the Missouri Theater
